How many degrees apart are the hour hand and the minute hand?

Answer: B) 7.5°. The minute hand points exactly at 3. The hour hand doesn't stay on 3: it moves 30° every hour, so after a quarter of an hour it has moved a quarter of the way towards 4, which is 7.5°. So the angle is 7.5°, not zero as many people think.
